Florida Surf Film Festival
The Florida Surf Film Festival is proud to present its third-quarter event on Friday, August 23, 2025, at the Daytona State News‑Journal Center. The centerpiece of the evening will be the East Coast Premiere of A Marble in the Jar, an intimate documentary by Greg Browning and Scott Smith, featuring surfing phenom Tatiana Weston‑Webb.

Sunset Concert Series - The Days Between
It's time to be Grateful! The sun will be setting on Friday, August 8, and Saturday, August 9, as the Sunset Concert Series presents The Days Between Weekend Fest featuring The Cosmic Jam on Friday and The Rap Jacks on Saturday. The Days Between refers to the 9 days between Jerry Garcia's birthday (August 1) and his death (August 9) and is a term used by Grateful Dead fans to refer to this period of time, particularly as a way to honor and remember Jerry Garcia. It also refers to one of their songs.
The Cosmic Jam hails from New Smyrna Beach and jams to covers from the Grateful Dead and defines itself as "Where Rock And Jam Band Worlds Collide."
The Rap Jacks were formed in the heart of Central Florida, in the Orlando area, and have become a local favorite and a powerhouse in the Grateful Dead tribute world.

Elevate Daytona
A youth movement. Treating people better. Learning life's lessons from unexpected teachers. These are just a few of the topics to be presented at this year’s Elevate Daytona Beach presented by AdventHealth, scheduled for Thursday, August 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the News-Journal Center on Beach Street.
News-Journal Center doors will open at 5pm for a social hour with a brand new feature, the Elevate Expo: A Nonprofit Showcase. Theaters doors will open for seating at 6pm. Elevate Daytona Beach will begin promptly at 6:30pm.

Sunset Concert Series - Brothers Within
The sun will be setting as the Friday, June 20 Sunset Concert Series presents Brothers Within at 7:30 PM in the Riverfront Esplanade across from the Brown & Brown Insurance building at 355 N. Beach Street in Downtown Daytona Beach. The Sunset Concert Series is a partnership between Al Smith Productions and the Esplanade dedicated to bringing a new entertainment venue to Downtown Daytona. Brothers Within is an organic reggae band out of Daytona Beach Shores. Their message lies within their name, which they spread through their music!
